Family escapes Hwy. 401 crashes, explosion in Pickering.

A young man was one of the last cars to escape a fuel tanker truck explosion on Highway 401 from Kingston, Ontario, killing two drivers. The truck was hauling two trailers of flammable fuel, which exploded under a Brock Road bridge overpass. The driver of the second transport truck was killed, while the passenger vehicle was involved in the fiery crash. The highway is closed for investigation and cleanup, causing heavy traffic delays.
